Torn between 29er options

OK I dont give a monkeys about the debate :p

I have a budget of £800 which I came to from looking at most of the big name brands and seeing that its a reasonable price to get back into MTB'ing with. I had a 2007 scale 50 and it was lovely but I never really rode it so sold it etc blah blah, but was shocked to see that to even get on the scale ladder its £800+ when I only paid £500 for the 50 way back.

Anyway, I went to a Giant dealer and mentioned the budget and he suggested the Revel 0 at £550 and that there was no need to go up the range until the £1K Talon variant as there arent any real improvements to be had.... Now I'd love to save some cash, but the fork just seems to be a major let down in the whole package, so thinking of canning that idea unless someone can come up with a good reason not to.

So I'm left with three on my list ( as another like to have is an Air Fork)
On One Scandal (waiting for friday as it might be cheaper, I dont know) for £799
Canyon Yellowstone AL 5.9 for £740ish inc postage, problem is a 4 week lead time minimum :(
Cannondale SL2 (2012) for £750
