Newbie saying hello!

Hey peeps, i have just joined Bike Radar and wanted to say hi, hopefully i will benefit from the wealth of everybody's knowledge! I am a newcomer to MTB and looking to get started with a basic bike on a small budget for the time being, any advice on what/where to look for a bargain is much appreciated! :mrgreen:

    Welcome to the forum.

    Check out the thread up top by Supersonic - that will give you a heads up before you start asking the inevitable "Is this a good bike?" question on here.
    In general, the first two question you will be asked is; "What is your budget" and "where do you ride".
    If you have £1500 and you ride lots of downhill over rocks, the answer will be vastly different from if you have £300 and spend most of your time riding canal paths and through your local woods.
