Smaller heart rate monitor straps

Being quite small, I don't know whether a normal heart rate monitor will be too lose. I found this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Garmin-Heart-Mo ... B002PK15EI It says it's for the forerunner 405, but I assume it will go with any garmin monitor?

If I buy a normal garmin hrm strap, will I be able to replace the original strap with this new one easily? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Garmin-Premium- ... rmin+strap

I can't seem to find the "black box" (!) thing sold separately so I think this would be the only option.

Alternatively, does anyone know of any hrm straps that come in a smaller size?
I have a Bryton 40 which has ant+ btw.

that first strap is for the garmin hrm1b...

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Garmin-Heart-Ra ... d_sim_ce_1

should be ok for chest size down to about 72cm/28"

i've got an hrm1b, had it years, very reliable, should be ok with other garmins

the strap is simple fabric, if it were to be too long for you it'd be simple to cut shorter and resew onto the buckle
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny
