Basically I'm a trials rider looking for a decent front tyre and I reckon I should be able to find something in the mountain biking world
Looking for something around 42a durometer
600g or less
Single ply
Any tread pattern
<£45
The ideal is http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_tyres/tryall_shift_front_26_inch/c33p11289.html
But looking for a viable alternative thanks !

They are both 42a compound and single ply And in your budget0 -
Thanks for the reply but both about 200gr too heavy, cheers though!0

Most tyres will be completely suitable for what you want.
But i'd start off looking at halo twin rail or similar.0 -
Twin rails are too hard a compound.
Something like a kenda small block 8 in a softer compound would be spot on!0 -
The Larsen TT is available in Super Tacky but is 100g over your ideal weight at 700g. Only £20 at Wiggle though.
Maybe look at the Continental Mountain King II? The Race Sport 2.2 is claimed 500g and the Protecion is claimed 590g. Both use the Black Chili compound. Maybe even a Race King or an X King are more what you're after, both are available with the Black Chili compound.0
