Looking for a future Road Bike

Hey guys, I am a completely new cyclist. I just recently bought a Schwinn Prelude because it's cheap and it's my first road bike. I've had it for a couple months now for commuting and I am planning to buy a better road bike in the near future.
My question is,
What do you guys suggest as the best road bike for the price range of $400 - $600 (Max $650 including shipping)
Edit: I live in the USA and I saw the Triban 3 for £299.99 but it's out of stock? It looks like a very good bike so if anyone knows where i can get one, if not, suggest me one
