I have to admit that I am not familiar with the cattle grids of Toledo, but in Yorkshire, the ones on public roads are always absolutely fine. It has never occurred to me to have a look at one before I crossed it and I have never regretted not doing so.

No problem with cattle grids, but I always look carefully to see if there's a pothole at the edge waiting to eat a wheel.

The only grids I had a problem with were on the desent from Kühtai in the direction of Innsbruck where they weren't at right angles to the road.

    Othewise, just zip over them.
