It looks like a new cafe is about to open in Spitalfields Market, opposite Evans Cycles. That wouldn't normally be news, except that there are a couple of Boardman TT bikes hanging on the wall. So maybe it will a have bike theme. Anyone know anything about it?

OK, this place is up and running now, though not fully. I popped in there today. They are going to be selling the higher-end Boardman bikes (i.e. from about £1500 upwards as Halfords have exclusivity for the others). There area few more bikes in there now. They will also be doing clothing. Worth checking out.Shut up, knees!

On a related note, the new Giant store in St Paul's (actually at the W end of London Wall, opposite the Museum of London) has a cafe just inside the entrance, and was showing the Giro last week...Pannier, 120rpm.0

it is indeed both, although only coffee and pastries as yet on sale, but a good display of the top end Boardman range on display. described as a "soft opening as the coffeee machine was working and the Giro was on". I guess it will fill out a bit over the coming weeks, but only Boardman bikes initiallyBianchi Infinito CV

So this place, Peloton & Co, is turning out to be a pretty nice place. Friendly staff. They have some clothes in stock now as well as the Boardman bikes. Great chilled place to watch the Tour if you're in the area. PLUS, on Thursday evenings (i.e. today) they're giving out free beer  6-8pm and showing the Tour highlights from 7. What's not to like?Shut up, knees!

might have to do a 'cafe crawl' to here and look mum no hands at some point0

I like it,the coffee is very good and the staff are friendly and chatty.
Not chilled though, was about 110F in there for the end of the time trial.0 -
Just wandered past it at lunchtime. Didn't go in as I felt distinctly under-dressed in my civvies and not wearing a monochrome jersey and cycling cap with asymmetrical white stripes on them
Looks good though0 -
Been there twice now, they've got the TdF on the projector. As Cambs says, good coffee, nice staff. They just need more seats inside rather than the 1 massive picnic table.FCN3: Titanium Qoroz.0
