Shimano Headache

Hi I currently own a Marin Bobcat Trail 2012 (specs will be bottom of thread)
I was wondering if i could fit a Shimano HG80 9 Speed Cassette 11-34 to my bike instead of the fairly poor
Shimano HG30 9 Speed Cassette 11-34 the bike comes with
Will I be able to do this?

    Would any Shimano 9 speed 11-34 cassette work?

    You can fit any 9-speed cassette but what exactly is wrong with the one you have?

    The cassette I have now is worn to hell!
    Needs replacing

    so your chain is most likely to be as well and there is a good chance you have a worn-out chain ring as well.
