Dura ace 7800 brake threaded plastic insert
Just installing a pair of Dura Ace 7800 brakes I purchased the other day off ebay, and when I went to adjust the tension on the rear barrel adjuster it wouldn't budge. Odd, I thought, so I released the cable and tried to turn it again. Still wouldn't budge, so I gingerly wiggled it and it just slipped up through the supposedly threaded plastic insert. D'oh. So it would appear the plastic insert is stripped and was before I touched them! Anyone know where I could get a new one/is it replaceable?
I've contacted the seller in the meantime.
Thanks for any help.

go to shimano tech docs and review the relevant file for the brake assembly. Get the part code and google it. Often a supplier comes up.0

Try here http://techdocs.shimano.com/media/techdocs/content/cycle/EV/bikecomponents/BR/EV-BR-7800-2249A_v1_m56577569830609052.pdf
I believe that Madison are the UK importers for Shimano http://www.madison.co.uk/brandInfo.aspx?pf=brands&manu=Shimano I don't think you can buy direct, only through a dealer.
Not quite a match (Ultegra) but might be worth a phone call here http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/shimano-ultegra-br-6700-front-cable-adjusting-bolt-unit-8g6-9812-prod29963/ to see if they can source the part (number looks to be Y-8A0 98120)
