I'm looking for a link to a nice ride I can upload to the Garmin for the weekend. Can you help?

While were at it, any London to Cambridge routes?"If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got."

B-Twin Alur 700 = Sundays and Hills0 -

Last time I rode to Brighton I took this route. I don't know if Vermin can handle it though.0

A couple in here you could adapt, I prefer heading over Ditchling on the way there but if after a flat route head west and head in by Shoreham airport. If I know you, and I like you, you can borrow my bike box for £30 a week. PM for details.0

This is to the summit of the Beacon, rest of the way is easy. It's a nice route, some good fast sections and a few hills:

Where are you starting from.
I'd suggest IIP's route, but near the start, I'd go to Coulsdon, then over Farthing Downs.0 -
I've got a nice route but can't access it at the mo, will link to it later on this evening.
I also have a nice route to Eastbourne that has 3 hills at the end, each one longer and tougher than the previous one. A real killer finish that you should enjoy and it's just as easy/same price to get home from as Brighton.FCN = 40 -

If the OP gets to Coulsdon South Station early enough on Saturday then there may be some groups heading to Brighton.0 -
Farthing Downs looks ideal. Had no idea that was an option. Will give that a go next time.

London to Brighton - really nice route
London to Eastbourne - highly underrated (Wasn't he the Emperor of Ethiopia?). Look at those three hills at the end - a classic!FCN = 40 -
What about coming back the way? Any suggestions for a quick route avoiding the A23?0

It didn't go. Caught a bout of the Wiggos and have been off the bike for a few days. Hope to try again in a fortnight and report back.0

Have a quick look at www.12on12in12.blogspot.co.uk - I'm riding 12 times in 12 months on 12 different bikes - only one up there at the moment, but have done another. My route is pretty quick - around 60 miles and the route is pretty direct...http://www.georgesfoundation.org
