Found this little gem and did it up proper...
Pretty happy with the result.

    Very nice.

Also mad fibre wheels? I like, unusual wheels you don't see often.

I used to have a very similar frame, mine was the KG 253, what model is this? Steel or alloy?

Amazing. As said above I've never seen Madfiber wheels on any bike here :D

    Road - Dolan Preffisio
    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.

    This is an AL264.
    It's an aluminum frame.
Sorry for the photos... The site limits attachment sizes and this was the only way I could get them loaded on using my iPad.

Thats lovely. What was the inspiration for putting modern (expensive) kit on that frame?

Not having a go, its beautiful. Just curious!

    It's funny u ask...
Most of the components on this frame were originally on my cervelo. Unfortunately, it tipped over at home onto a sharp corner and cracked the frame. The frame was just under 2 years old and had plenty of miles left in it...
I am also expecting shipment of a new bike in July, so I figured I would take the parts and put together a "backup" bike that was as different as possible in ride characteristics and looks.

I considered some cheaper frames from the usual suspects, but couldn't pull the trigger. The low end models seemed gaudy and generic. That was until I saw this... It was relatively light, relatively affordable, classic looking, and certainly rode differently to carbon and steel.

To be honest, after riding it, I am surprised how much I like it... It's pretty harsh over bumps, but it weight in at 16lbs and according to strava, it hasn't impacted my performance that much.

    Win - Win!

You've #'ed "swag" on a picture of this bike on instagram more than once.

I don't want to be rude but you deserve a slap.

    Love that!
  • That's amazing. I want to do the same type of thing, not to that level though. It works really well.
