Brakes are confusing me
unquestioned

So I got my new bike back, I have decided that the Hayes Sport Dyno brakes it came with are pants & I am looking to upgrade.
I did see some clarks sets, namely CNC 540 & 790 but can find no reviews whatsoever so no idea if they would be any good.
Also the Tektro Orion brakes?
Any other recommendations? I was looking at saints but out of my price range really. Not so keen on Avids as all I ever seem to read about them are problems.
Suggestions are of course welcome.
