DT Swiss Tricon R1700 wheel help!!!

Just done a duathlon at the weekend and on the bike a spoke went ping! Have looked at replacing and LBS said 13/14 weeks for replacement spoke and specialist tools! Not wanting to wait that long all my other 3 bike shops didn't want to do them and pretty much said the same. My question is, does anyone have any spare spokes for the front wheel of a DT Swiss Tricon R1700 wheel and/or anyone got the tools for it and know how??
Any help grateful
Thanks

Unfortunately these things are getting more and more common... proprietary technology and uncommon spokes and nipples... the Tricon are part of that despicable family of wheels... they use spokes with two threads and two nipples, very uncommon... CRC stock them, but only as a set to rebuild the wheel and at 60 pounds plusleft the forum March 20230

Just had the same fate in my rear DT Swiss Tricon 1700 wheels.
So is it a matter of getting this kit from CRC and then taking it to a LBS or do I need tools as well?!
Nothing is ever simple is it! :-('08 Scott Genius MC20

Sounds like there needs to be an owners club shared spares kit that you all club together and buy and then just call off the required bits when necessary!Trail fun - Transition Bandit
Road - Wilier Izoard Centaur/Cube Agree C62 Disc
Allround - Cotic Solaris0 -
Indeed, good plan!
Well I just contacted the DT Swiss recommended repared, TF Tuned, and they say its a full rebuild (for one spoke!!!) at £150+!
Not a good day. Why do I always buy awkward things :-)
I'm probably better off getting a new set of wheels that wont costs me £200 when a spoke goes!?'08 Scott Genius MC20

budget - mavic aksium £150/200
better - mavic ksyrium elite £500
for both buy some spare spokes *now* as mavic tend to discontinue after a few years which is when you'd need one :-)0 -

Hard to see past the Campag Zondas. Ribble have Campag fit option for £239. Shimano fit out of stock but may be available later.

Bought these for my previous non-disc bike and I was hugely impessed. Many threads around where others have also praised them.0 -

Just ordered some of these:

Mavic 2016 Ksyrium Elite, retail at a fair bit less than the DT Swiss ones would have but seem to have good reviews. Do you think these would be a step down? Weight seems about the same!
Thanks'08 Scott Genius MC20
