Hi

Anybody done this or doing this ?
What's the vertical ?
Are the roads in good condition or the usual UK potholed mess ?
How tough (98miler) compared to the Dragonride ?

I'm booked on the 98miler but can always bottle it down to the 65miler.
Bit further out than I normally get to so be nice to be on some new roads.

Any comments and reports welcome.

    It isn't easy but its no Fred Whitton. I suffered badly last year due to the very high temperatures. The ride itself was quite manageable. The roads are mixed - some good quality main roads, some rougher back roads but nothing too severe. You certainly won't need to take any special precautions - potholes are everywhere these days afterall
