Merino layers and windproof lightweight tight fitting clothing, a spare pair of gloves and the best overshoes you can find and it'll be just fine.
If you can take something additional to put on if you have a mechanical or extended food stop, plus its not mars there's plenty of places to stop and take a break if it turns really ugly - pubs mmmm beer
Enjoy
PS. I'll be in Mallorca practicing climbing in the sun and drinking plenty of post ride beers, keeping hydrated is very important.Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.
Rule #9 // If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Period.
Rule #12 // The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.
Rule #42 // A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run.0 -
I rode the 127 mile magnificat route a couple of years back in contact pouring heavy rain and it was my 2nd most miserable time on the bike ever (The 1st was when I got hypothermia). I wouldn't recommend it.0
