Just got this thing for £25...
Needs a bit of work it's a bit rusty to get it running well it just needs new tyres, tubes & a wheel trueing..
can't wait to get it all sorted and on the road

PS does anybody know how old these are? it has 27" inch wheels

I wish I could find something like that for £25 - excellent find!
I'd guess at about 1982-3 but the frame number under the BB should give it away. Irrc the first digit after the location letter code is the year of manufacture. The second would then be the month it was made and the remainder the numeric number of that frame for the month - eg the 2543rd frame of a bike built in Jan 83 would be 812543. Probably!Faster than a tent.......0 -
I know I'm pretty happy with it..
I shall try to get a look at the serial number later if I can.. i know the bottom is pretty mucky/rusty so hopefully it's still there!0
