Repair or replace rear mech

I have an xtr m952 rear mech. It's been working fine for years but now doesn't keep the chain tight and the pivot point is really stiff (makes me think it may be the spring)

How easy are these to strip down and repair (+ get spares for), or would it be worth replacing it and going for something like this? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=20700

    You mean the pulley arm?

    Have a look in the tech doc to see if it can be striped back and the spring not just popped out.

    Other wise the long cage xt is very cheap.
