Go for a bike ride, only ~45 miles or so
    Hold a press conference
    Do some gardening
    Get a massage
    Play La Marseillaise
    Eat an omellette
    Read the papers
Say HI to all friends and fans taking a keen interest in one's progress :)

Watch the GCN preview! Or, watch the recorded stage of the Tour of California (It went on past my bedtime last night!)

GOOD GOD! Next Sunday they're going up the Télégraphe and the Galibier!
That's not right. This is the Giro, not the Tour.

I'd seriously recommend a pair of blinkers attached to RadarLocks for that

I thought that was the road through Holmbury St. Mary, complete with repairs ready for RideLondon and the classic.

that looks alright compared to the Yungas Road in Bolivia I rode down a few years ago - at least the one above (used to be) paved!

John Degenkolb out of the Giro, he and his team say he's tired and finding it hard to recover.

Is the photo from the visit to the Pinarello factory on the rest day?
I wonder did they all get souvenir miniatures to put on their mantlepieces?

    22087794.jpg

I heard beforehand they did a 2-hour training ride, which might explain Wiggins' outfit, i.e. on the way back to the hotel they went by the factory ... and suitably attired should they be allowed a quick spin around the factory yard on Indurain's bike.

(How do you link your photos? I thought when I quoted you, your photos would be there too, but they're not)

Wonder if they asked the Pinarello designers to look at bike designs that can go around corners in the wet (or whether they could design some kind of carbon fibre stabilisers!). Then again, fresh rumours that they will be using Specialized next season.
