Replacement pins

I bought some Nukeproof pedals last month:

They are great, I love them but............the pins seem to attract surface rust (especially the ones that are recessed.) Does anyone have any suggestions for either getting rid of the rust and protecting the pins, or replacing the pins with some that don't rust ?
It's bloody annoying to see my great looking pedals have rusty bits

ride your bike more. then there will not be the time for rust to form.
yes you can get replacements but why? does rust stop them working?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

LOL I would ride it more but it's in pieces at Evans at the moment as the Fork has had to be sent to SRAM's Tech Centre in Windsor to be fixed
Rust isn't pretty. I'd rather not have rust on the bike tbh. Also it doesn't bode well if they get surface rust after a week, how long before they are completely buggered0 -
It bodes well for them being steel and lasting longer than 2mins when you schwack them off a rock. Get over it, they'll be fine.0

I don't care if "they'll be fine" I don't want rust on my bike anywhere. Hence me asking if there is an equal strength alternative, or suggestions on getting rid of the rust and protecting the pins from further rust episodes.0

no one can see it when your riding (or are you paranoid?)
otherwise, buy pedals that the pins don't rust (superstar nanos pins don't rust but the axles do slightly corrode so they will be no use for you)
or give up cycling and start a sport that will make you happy.......
and you think those phosphor coated bolts will stop corrosion... jesus......
they will be cheaper from your local blacksmith / hardware store than RS and probably rust faster......
you know this really is a 1st world problem......0 -
Problem will be the two pins you can't replace. They will rust and you will go slowly mad.I don't do smileys.
