The Russian's cycling 'style' had me laughing at points. His attacks are vicious

It's an absolute pile of cliched shite with the good old 'Merican hero overcoming those nasty, cheating, drugged up Ruskies. The Russian is climbing the Rockies with the leaders despite being built like Forsterman. 'Shake and break' my ar$e.

True, but the big, bearded Russian was also there for the flag wavers to boo at.

That's because he is riding a Sannino frame... you should have seen me... I was finishing my (horribly French) coffee at the top of the Aubisque when the 15 strong companions made their way into the cafe'

TBF that is more to do with you. If I rode the Sannino I would still be last, but at least I would look good.

Clichéd cheesy brilliance! :D One of the great sporting films.

The treadmill scene is one of my favourite's.

    Great soundtrack too.....

Lets go! American Flyers...You aim hi hi hi highy high, the race against time. I know... your heart is on fiiire. Going the distance...leaving the others behind...

Saw this film last weekend, 25 years after the first viewing. Corny, dated, brilliant!!

Whenever I'm out with the guys and a dog runs to the garden fence barking at us, we always say 'just callin for Eddie'! :D
