knocking noise

Out Today and was getting a terrible knocking noise from the crank area.

Only happening when pedalling. Is this likely to be bb issues? Its a bb30

    sounds like bottom bracket

    best way to check is take the chain off & spin the cranks. See how they feel & if there is any lateral play in the axle
