The sealant will seal the side walls anyway, you won't need loads, just lay the wheels on their side for half and hour then flip them over, my Rocket Rons leaked like tissue paper but soon sealed up and don't lose pressure. I would tape up the rims fit the valve, pop the tyre on and pump up to seat the beads and see how well in hold air first so you know what you up against, you might it's only a small amount of air escaping.0

I couldn't get my 29er Rubber Queen to seal even though I left it all day, shaking the wheel every few hours, and alternating the side it was laid down on. I even left it overnight but to no avail. By contrast, the X-King on the rear sealed without trouble. Good luck!0

I recently tried a X-King in race sport compound which is supposed to be tubeless ready. I found they where a bugger to get inflated with UST rims and I had to put a tube in to seat one bead then it went up fine. I did find the sidewalls where a little porous but the sealant soon sealed up any holes. Been using them for a few weeks now and they have been fine they loose a little air pressure compared to other tyres I've had in the past but we're only talking about a few PSI over a week nothing major.0
