Help with new front mech please.

I'vejust got a new ffront mech, shimano xt fdm 771 which is a dual pull mech.

I need to install it as a top pull.

So, do I just run the cable directly to the Allen bolt?, and just ignore the kind of horseshoe shaped bit?

I don't know as I don't have any manual. Bought second hand.
