Morning bumders
Uni open day today. £50 for 6 hours spent doing tours. Can't complain like. Followed by tennis. Then bikes.

Morning mongs (never been so apt.)
Today will consist of bacon, taking car for m.o.t, beers, comedy club, beers.
Post breakfast I must purchase some gaffa tape to reattach my door handle. After breaking it off a couple of years ago, I have to tape it on for it to pass the m.o.t each year as I'm too tight to buy a new door.

Sat waiting for some new tryes to be put on the car... nearly took out a Jag so figured it was about time lol.
Then off for steak later... top of the menu is a £42 offering, which best come with the Saturdays or I'llbget something cheaper!0 -
Work, empty office, peace and quiet to put the music on and trawl through 2 days of my work I haven't managed to do due to one minion being off sick. I'm dunking biscuits in tea and that is my breakfast. Have a vast stock of junk food to keep me going for the next couple of hours.
BNO in the 'Diff later. I'm not enthusiastic as it will be with people who are that special bottled orange colour. If we head in the direction of Glam or Crystal I'll be leaving.Sarcasm: Because punching someone in the face is illegal.0 -
Currently sat at the place of work that I own watching minions showing potential clients around.
Had some good feedback so far
Here til 1 and then off out for some food.

Afternoon Poonani Hunters (and Poonani owners),
Legs ache after yesterdays commuting - I was getting a bit competitive with the lycra mongs on the way home
A few bike related goings on today. The Bruiser has had its chain device fitted so nowe just needs a bit of playing with shock/fork pressures & settings and it's ready to roll. Then did a bit of bike matchmaking by brokering a bike sale between 2 mates who didn't know each other till today - potential addition to the local bike crew in the offing. Will be round at mate #1 later to help him fettle and lend him some pedals (he's even more mechanically clueless than me).
Now for a well deserved Full English Lunch..."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Miller and Carter ain't bad, we go to lunch there on occasion as it's close to the office.
Awoke with a not inconsiderable hangover after post-work boozing last night. Briefly considered riding, but weather was wank and the moment has passed now. Will aim for a morning ride before hte F1 tomorrow.0 -
Revising. 24 GCSE exams to do in exactly 1 month. Bullshit much!?

Hello mongs
Great day involving a decent 50+ miles in the rolling hills of Shropshire on th single speed, followed by a decent lunch in Ludlow and now the post pub glow as I get ready for a steak diner and a bottle of Chablis - life is good0 -

The Pikes are running perfectly now after my home service, so I'm a happy badger. The Blender was running well down the blue run, jumping and popping off rocks like it's designed to. I even went down the red once, though a big OTB moment on rocks, ripping my waterproofs to shreds meant I rode the red for the rest of the day.
The weather was atrocious! The wind at the top of the mountain had people falling over whilst standing, and jumps were brave as you kept getting whipped off. It rained most the day, and was occasionally sunny, but the hail. My god the hailstones! It was like a machine gun was shooting at us!
I'm going to ache tomorrow! It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Evening Scuttlers
Still didnt find my 40 quid today, its weird as every time I've lost money its been in the denomination of 40 quid. Feeling a lot perkier though, McFly really lifted my spirits last night and I've rattled on with the house today, bought some "vintage" furniture thats actually made like furniture should be and repaired the tiles in the kitchen.
Also met one of the neighbours who appears a decent sort, and will provide plenty of entertainment if she sunbathes in the garden
And now its time for me to put something meaty and indian in my mouth0 -

Apparently it's how little white Cypriot descendants interpererate things :?0 -
You cant get black Cypriots, so obviously its going to a white Cypriot
And since when do Cypriots of all people interpret things like that? :shock:0 -
