I have a 3000$ budget, and I'm digging the Trek Fuel EX8. I'm going to ride singletracks and some jumps. I'd love to hear your guys's opinion on the Trek and please link me or suggest what you think would be a great full suspension singletrack trail bike. Thanks!

It's a nice bike, but I prefer the shimano shifters better, not a big fan of the two thumb0

Whose $s are you referring to? Most people on here are in the UK and prices and often spec are not easily comparable between countries.I don't do smileys.

As Cooldad pointed out, UK, so that will be GB£ please! No Euro's here! (3000=£2000 near enough)Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

And what is $3k there is likely to be about £3k here, so hard to compare.
But as you are American, the obvious answer is an Orange 5.I don't do smileys.

Sorry again, as most of you are familiar with the pound currency, so it would be around 2000 pounds.0
