A friend has suggested I post this here. I hope that's OK.
The son of some very good friends was born disabled and has fought like hell in both cycling and swimming to the point where he has been asked to train with the GB PDT. Just on the off chance anyone sees anything I thought I'd post this message.
"This is Louis' stolen bike, it was taken at about 1am Thursday 9th May from the disabled parking bay at the Ibis Hotel in Manchester. Louis was due to start training with GB Paracycling Development Team today and he needs his bike ! It has been adapted for a disabled person with use of only the left arm and hand to ride, it is fairly useless to anyone else. The bike has been datatagged by the Met police and I would ask anyone who can to share this picture, if you are in the Manchester area and see the bike please let us know or urge whoever has it to hand it in to the police or Manchester Velodrome, whatever, just get it back to its rightful owner who loves to ride it and didn't deserve to lose it. Thanks."
