Hi all it's me again with another question
What would be the best tyre for the tow path and the odd bit of woodland trail riding ?
I have currently got a set of rocket rons on but they're pretty worn now so thinking of getting a new set
Cheers, Bry

I think anything will do as long as it's not slick. Get the cheapest similar or slightly larger size. ie. if you have 26" x 2.1 you could go to 2.2 or 2.3 for the extra comfort.Planet X Kaffenback 2
Giant Trance X2
Genesis High Latitude 2x10

you could get some schwalbe nobby nics which would be good.
what condition is the towpath ? compacted walked on soil or covered with gravel etc ?0 -
It's compact mate most of the way but has some loose gravel sections on it in places

Nobby Nics? Behave.
Kenda Small Block 8s or something very similar. Very small tread, ultra-fast rolling, grippy enough.Trail fun - Transition Bandit

yes but the op also mentioned woodland trail riding, why i suggested these.
Could also look at conti race king tyres ?0 -
‘Woodland trail riding’ could include anything from deep thick mud to hard packed pathway type trail.
You can get 2 Continental Mountain King II plus inner tubes off ebay for about £25, I wouldn’t bother with the expensive black chili version.Planet X Kaffenback 2

He may be going downhill at some time as well but we're not recommending Minions or Super-Tacky High Rollers.
The comment was "tow paths and the odd bit of woodland trail riding". That's fast-rolling, small tread territory.Trail fun - Transition Bandit
