Bike hooks with the front wheel off

Carrying on from my bike storage thread, I have had a measure up and reckon I can get all 3 bikes in a small utility room I have if I take the front wheel's off the MTB's, turn the bars and hang them from the forks,
Does anyone do this, and if you do can you show me how they are hung and what kinda hooks you use,

    Surely you could top and tail them and potentially avoid turning the bars.

    I'd be inclined to go for something like a bungy to hook them up on using either the arch of the fork or the stem with something at the rear wheel to help support the rear wheel and take some of the weight.

    Alternatively a QR skewer mounted to the wall would serve to secure the fork - you'd have to turn the bars by loosening the stem though.
