Heavier rider on softer spring

Hi,
Hoping someone can help me with this probably stupid question.
I have a boXXer RC fork on my DH bike, with the XS spring ( <140 pounds )
My friend weighs 170 pounds (2 coils sizes up according to the docs), if he was to use my bike, would he damage the forks? Presumably he would be bottoming out quite severely - Can this cause damage?
Thanks for any advice.

Yes, repeated bottom outs are not good.
Increase the compression damping if he is to borrow it.0 -
Bottoming out is normal surely - you're trying to use all the travel for a reason...
Depends how heavy the bottoming out is.0 -
Hence 'repeated'. Ideally you should bottom out only once or twice per ride under heavy riding, and I prefer to not do it all except for the massive unexpected hits.0
