Hi all back with another question
Which brake set would you go for if you were doing mainly tow path riding
I've currently got elixir 5's and was thinking of upgrading

    For riding on tow paths I wouldn't bother upgrading.
    Trail fun - Transition Bandit
    Road - Wilier Izoard Centaur/Cube Agree C62 Disc
    Allround - Cotic Solaris

    save your money there is nothing wrong with the Elixirs.

    You don't need discs for tow paths, so no point spending money on changing them!
    Elixirs are perfectly adequate!

    Thanks for the replies lads
    I'll just get the elixirs serviced as the rear one doesn't seem too clever. Either needs bleeding or new pads

    It's easy enough to look and see if it needs new pads. The old ones will be worn.
