Morning Losers!

So it turns out that I stayed in the sun a little too long yesterday. This is particularly bad news for my slowly balding head, which now stings like a beeatch when touched (my shower was painful, drying my hair was murder!)

Today I'm wrestling with the idea of wearing shorts to work. It's been frowned upon in the past. Maybe 3/4 length is acceptable? Later I'm driving hot librarian to Wakefield for a new snake tank then finishing my application form.

Laters!

    Mornin' weebles

An excellent long weekend was had featuring garage time, playing bikes and quality personal time with She With Boobs. Cannock yesterday was gorgeously warm and absolutely rammed with folk. Luckily the trail itself wasn't quite so busy. The new, temporary descent down to the railway crossing is a grand addition, but with that volume of traffic, won't last long at all.

Today is the start of an even shorter working week (off to Wales for rally reasons on Friday morning), but one that will need to be packed with welding, as we have a large stack of sub-con work turning up in about an hour - I'd better get the machine programmed and ready to rock 'n' roll!

    Onwards! To caffiene! And robots!
How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

    Morning mongos,

Off for the train to Manchester in a moment. I hate trains, full of poor people, but this is for a work meeting then free food/beer/hotel so I'll make do.

Then starts my first week off work since the Kaiser last year, to say I'm tired and at risk of laying waste to minions would be an understatement.

As I spent most of the day asleep yesterday, today I'm full of energy. Will be supplying a good amount of cake, will also be enjoying the sunshine on my extended lunch break. might also pop down the bike shop

    Good morning Freaks!

    I don't burn in the sun... :D

Today, I am mostly not at work... Will be helping fit the new internal doors later (I'll be tea-boy). Also waiting for a delivery (wheel spacers for the car), so can't really disappear off out until later. Will hopefully have an hour or two later for a ride.

    Laters...

Day off requirements - sunshine, hammock and food - all located. Now just have to avoid the mothership and practice chore avoidance. Who wants to do the hoovering on a day like today? Lovely and sunny out there so first task of the day is to head out for a run before it gets too hot out there. Waylander has been trying to stalk me in the FoD all weekend so I have been too scared to leave the house

Interesting suntan/burn lines achieved yesterday. I should not fall asleep in the sunshine.

    Morning window lickers,
Crappy weather all weekend up here, though as it's back to work today the sun has to be splitting the sky. To make matters worse I was rerouted this morning to the other office wich is half an hour from the house (rather than the one 5 mins away), if the bos had said to me over the weekend I could have put my bike in the boot, now I'm going to have to rush about if I fancy a ride after work
Ah well onwards to a caffine and bacon filled day.

I regret wearing gloves on my ride yesterday... I have red arms and pale hands :(

    Hola Mong touchers...

Good weekend had, obviously my stalking skills are mucho lacking as the target was aware of my presence and could therefor avoid me easily..

Shoulders are sore after DH yesterday not used to it at the moment, but of to Cwm for a spin later keep the legs turning and enjoy this sun while its here.

Need more coffee at work though.. bring me coffee!

And back to work with a bang! :(

champion weekend, got some local laps in on the FS and the HT, watched some snooker and general loafing about filled up the rest of the w/end, now back at work glancing out of the window wishing i was there instead.

Found a few cheeky cut-throughs round town so the local trail 'network' that my pal and i use is increasing nicely, good times.

Wicked weekend. First weekend in a while i havn't been out on either bikes at all, mates 21st. Went up the city on the friday and cant remeber getting home so that must of been good, and then a bbq/party thing on sunday which was even better as they had a catered bbq and a bar built in their garden just for the day, a free bar 8)

But yeah recovered from that yesterday, almost, and now back to the daily grind!

still in "the Stan!" No work to do at the mo' so the highlight of the day is seeing which nostril produces the mankiest, dustiest bogie!

Did have a donut earlier which was rather pleasing! and have just pinned up a poster of lucy pinder in my bed space! apparently she wants me, on her!

Ps happy to share my lucy pinder poster with the birthday boys, HB Richie and CWNT!

Managed to acquire the classic MTB sunburn on a jaunt to Afan yesterday - forearms, neck and nose. I now look evne more of a pleb than usual. Riding opportunities limited due to being on call for the most of the weekend, but trails were running a treat. Anyone tried the new descent at Whites level yet? It's bonkers! Mates up tomorrow, so doubtless there will be much beer and food consumed - hopefully the weather holds out 'till then, though this bing Wales I'm not exactly holding my breath.

    Afternoon Crudders

And happy birthday to Cat and Zimmer Man.

Massively tired yesterday despite doing almost no physical exercise, but was fine this morning so had a pedal into work and broke the 50 minute barrier for the first time in ages. Not so sure about the return trip this evening though, its going to be hot in the Big City.

    Right, back to work...

Happy Birthday Richie and CWNT!! You're both massively old! :D

I'm no longer off collecting a snake tank later, so I will be off out on the bike as I need to keep the legs spinning.

Do people actually want to sell stuff?

I've just asked someone on pink bike for the full spec of the bike they're selling. Cos the ad just said, fox forks, rp2 shock, size medium.

He sent me back, "stroker brakes, dt Swiss hubs the rest you can see really"

What a great full spec answer
