Cannondale flash - experiences

Guys,
Im looking for a change and i like the look and price of Cannondale flash alloy 1 2012 currently in stock at pauls cycles. Whats the experiences out there with the lefty fork and the feel of it? Does this fork have lock out feature on it for the roads also?

is it a mistake to buy a 26" wheeled bike as they are becoming a thing of the past, there is a 29" version here also, my worry with these types of bikes, are weight and climibing abilities.
