First 100 miler done today

Fantastic ride today to achieve my first 100 mile ride after a previous longest of around 85 miles. Very proud, very achy and very burnt!

That's fantastic ! How long have you been riding ? I've only done 18.5 as the most but only had the bike 3 weeks lol

I started riding trails/canals etc on the mountain bike around a year ago but found I was riding on the road more and more due to the soggy weather, so in the new year treated myself to a nice new road bike.

yeah i also completed my first century at the weekend, 110 miles 5:52 with an avg speed of 18.5 was mightily chuffed

Good effort - it was a nice day for it on Sunday, I managed my furthest yet (80 miles). Next step will be the 100

One of my aims for this year is to break into the top ten on the full length boot hill segment, I'm 20th as it stands! Damn strava and it's addictive competitiveness!
