Unless you've changed it, the standard cassette on these is 105. Looks great though - my dad's also got one and it's awesome!

Great looking bike. But i would say that, i have a comp3.

I've always fancied some of these wheels. They really suit the frame.

Would you recommend them? what are they like to ride compared to standard wheels, are they still ok for hill climbing?
    Thanks.

They are ok. I only got them as someone was selling them nearly new for £350..

To be honest the ones that come as standard are great wheels as well. I was going to get some lightweight shallow alu's as well, but for that reason im not bothering.

I think ill be getting some handbuilt 50mm carbon clinchers from wheelsmith at some stage and will give these to the mrs.

My dad got some Fulcrum Racing 1s, and they are unbelievable. He took 45 seconds off a 5 minute climb the other day with them and he wasn't even trying!

I did consider either some ksyrium sls or some Fulcrum Zeros, but decided I would prefer to have some Gigantex 24mm wide carbon clinchers (50mm) on Chris King Hubs & cx Ray spokes from wheelsmith. Need to wait a couple of months until I can get them past the wife mind, been alot of stuff delivered over the past few weeks & think I have pushed it as far as I can

A question to any tcr composite owners really.
Ever since new on my comp3 i get quite a bit of a 'clatter' coming from the forks over rough roads. The headset top bolt is tightened sufficienty with no play in the forks, but i still find them noisy over rough roads.
Does anyone else find this on their tcr comp?

I love what Giant have done with their bikes over the last few years. Very Very nearly bought on 2 weeks ago but went for a Ribble which just ticked one more box. Already having 2nd thoughts. Both these look mint.

    No idea on weight.

Which wheels are they? Chinese Carbons? Did toy with the idea of ordering some myself to see what the fuss is about.

And sorry, no idea about the clatter, I get none.

No I bought them off a wheel builder from devon which is where i live. Yeah they look great and are super light and fast. Whats the plans for your bike then other than the wheels?

    Not overly much really.

Just got some Time Iclic 2 Racer pedals (Red) delivered today, which seem nice.

I really like the OEM bar & Stem so plan to keep those (I have considered matching 3t Stem & Ergonova bars)

other than the wheels there isnt much to do! (open to suggestions)

Cracking choice. I much prefer Time over Look and others.

Pedals look good. I might buy a kmc gold chain this week

    Thanks.

To be honest, I would have preferred the pedals in black, but the racer only comes in white or red, so I went or the lesser of the two evils.

The KMC chain is the best I have used. You can pick them up off ebay for £26. Well worth it.

They match your bike so they look good in my opinion. Not sure if the gold chain would look right on my bike. The chain has to be lighter than the tiagra one thats on there

Nice...I am just waiting on my Cyclescheme voucher to turn up so I can go pick mine up :(

What are your thoughts on riding her, much flex in the frame? How are the PX wheels, im mearly 90kg's so worried they would not be sturdy enough?
