Happy with the ride I put in today but annoyed that someone nicked a route marker sending most of us the wrong way and shortening the route. Not the organisers fault of course but annoying all the same.
Enjoyed riding with a lot of good guys today, a couple who I get regrouping with as we got lost because of the above, another guy who kindly gave me half of his water bottle when I ran out due to the misdirection and missing the feed station. Vital because I was getting a bit dehydrated!
Had to laugh as well, was with one rider for quite along way until he turned off. He was on the shorter route!!

Good effort and good time on the course.
I rode some of that loop on Friday and picked it up for about 12 miles today whilst training on my TT bike.0 -
I also did the Loughborough Sportive today but clocked 107 miles ! We took a wrong turning at Bagworth due to the sign being missing. Great day out though and superb weather. Some bloody big hills in the last 15 miles !
Really enjoyed it today.0 -

Great effort mate, I wanted the 100 in the bag, sadly wasn't to be. Yes the hills were thrown in at the end, thankfully they weren't that severe, just long. Are there any results being published?Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

Not sure about the results being published. I am not too bothered though as I will take my timing from my garmin rather than the official timing chip as this wouldn't take into account the food station stops and my time looks better !!0 -
I'm inclined to agree,Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

I did the 65 mile route, those hills at the back of Bradgate Park, then Beacon hill straight after nearly did me in! Still, there were some nice long descents as a reward for making it up them.
EDIT: Actually, thinking about it, that sign being missing could explain why someone asked me how far I had on my Garmin with 20 or so miles left.0 -
That might have been me asking! (I did ask a rider as I passed)Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/
