Tubeless Conversion - DT Swiss

Hi guys,

Hoping this is the right forum!

Just picked up my new bike, and want to convert it to tubeless, but never done so before.

It's got DT Swiss 485d, 32H rims, that apparently are tubeless ready, but I believe I need rim tape and valves?

Question is, can I use any 29" tubeless rim tape? Everything I've seen so far says designed to work with this or that rim, rather than a universal one. The DT Swiss is 35 a wheel, which seems a bit of a piss take. Have read Bonty tape should do the trick?

Any help gratefully received as ver!

Cheers

have a look at the superstar tape, £7 a roll, 'should' be enough to get a good 2 loops per wheel, (stretch it on as you go) then should just be valves and tubeless goo!
for first time installation of tape, worth putting it on and then popping a tube in upto pressure overnight to make sure of a Good seal for tape to rim, then pop the tube out, tyre and goo on and away you go!!
