Morning freaks and weirdos,

6AM in Kandahar and its time for bacons, suncream, dusty bogeys and 13 hours of fixing important stuff!

Not a great way to spend sunday but knowing the Posh got relegated will keep me smiling!

In pedalling news, there are a few people using mountain bikes as transport out here, and you can see the hills in the distance but not sure the two should be mixed!!

tarar for now.

In pain as after a 'nice' dinner party my mate and I nipped to the local pub for a couple of pints and ended up well / badly depending on last night vs this morning

Is this what they mean by an 'extreme' graded route?

    Morning Gimps,

Late to bed last night so had a good lie in for a change, and just had bacon & eggs for brekky, so off to a good start. Not sure what's in store today as I'm feeling particularly lazy. Hopefully wife-related irritation will be kept to a minimum!

    Morning all,

I've just got back from 2 hours of digging a new track. All the trees are pruned back. Just need to build 2 berms and a bit of a ladder and we'll have the first section rideable :)

Off out for a walk (yes I mean walk) with the family, then s spot of lunch and maybe a few ciders in a beer garden somewhere

    Afternoon Losers!

Well Bury council have managed to fark up all the traffic in the town by having poorly laid out traffic lights. Honetly, couldn't organise a boozeup in a pub!
Typical day for me really, still looking in to what I can do for the Pikes. I am tempted to get me a proper DH bike on loan, to see what I can do with it, but it doesn't look like most places lend them out :( We shall see.

    Laters!

... still looking in to what I can do for the Pikes.
Just been to Leisure Lakes and bought some seals for the Pikes. Now I need to buy some oil and a new spring. There's a motorbike shop near me in Hudd, so I may pop in there, though there is some on CRC for £5.99 (5wt for Pikes is right, isn't it?) which is where I'm getting the spring from. Hmmm

Well, today was a complete waste of effort. Spent last night ejecting the contents of my stomach from every available exit... So, spent today trying to recover. Hopefully be 'okay' for tomorrow's day out and picnic. I need to be definitely okay for Tuesday as there's major fettling to be done - rebuilding the NRS into 'awesome mode'
