Cube Agree GTC 2011
riding the other day and strange noise coming from bike.
seems that the fork seems loose from the frame, took it off the frame and retightened the allen screws etc and seemed sorted until i was riding home after 40 miles. Felt loose again.
Took off and retightened again when i got home but still seems loose.
any advice
Thanks

The Star nut in the headset could be coming loose. An easy fix but take to LBS if not sure what you are doing. Losing your steering would be bad.0

The star nut doesn't do anything once the stem pinch screws are tightened.
To the OP: you aren't doing the pinch screws up tight enough. Give them another 1/4 turn.
ETA: Assuming your fork isn't coming to bits, of course!- - - - - - - - - -

I would agree with desweller. I have a cube gtc race and had a similar problem last week. Seemed like the headset was always coming loose. I gave the bearing preload an extra 1/2 turn then did the stem bolts up and all has been well since.0
