Upgrade advice

Hi I'm new to these forums and pretty new to mtb as well. I've been doing a few runs at cannock ftd and also long mynd. I have a trek 3 series that I bought around 3 years ago and am really looking for a bit of advice re next steps. I've been looking at the decathlon bikes that seem great value around 500 but want something that's going to last a while. I'm a big guy at 6 3.
