Replacement for Avid Juicy 5 brakes

My 2008 Trek EX 8 came with Avid Juicy 5 brakes however the back brake seems to have seized up after a period of inactivity (blame the arrival of son ). I've tried my best to free the piston but it isn't going anywhere.
It may be that the brake just needs bleeding however I led to believe this is a pain in the rear end on Avid brakes so I'm considering replacing with Shimano SLX or something else. If I do replace the back I'll replace the front as well.
Budget of £150ish.
Any thoughts?
Cheers

Good spot on the SLX set. That'll do nicely.
