Morning bumders

Exams went dreadfully, but fortunately most other people agreed.

Off out in a little while, going up to Wales for the Dyfi Enduro tomorrow. While I was checking the bike over last night I temporarily forgot my clockwise/anticlockwise and being a bit of a mong mannaged to rip the threads out of one of holes in my stem... thankfully I've found someone to lend me one the right lenght. Anyway, better get packing.

Anyway, I'll be off now, oh and if CMC and Waylander turn this into match.com please abuse them.

Just waiting for my lift to the airport to turn up then I'm off to sunnier climes.

Going to miss all the latest goings on in Crudination Street between CMC and Waylander. Did he go to the cinema with some fizzy sweets? I'll just have to wait to find out. I wonder if the CrudCatcher does a seven day catch up?

Those of you that are biking this weekend have a good time but I'll have to resort to just drinking beer and watching the girls go by.

    Later......

    Morning bums,

How much for some to take out my house mate? Otherwise all OK. And for the above questions.. No.

In work on a Saturday morning playing catch up and reducing the sheer volume of work that I will be doing over the rest of the long weekend. Meeting yesterday afternoon ended with wine so in response to the above I ended my night in a semi drunken heap on my sofa watching Twilight and being scared to death by housemates parents knocking on the living room window when it was dark.

The middle sister has been located safe and sound in Tanzania so the mothership has stopped ringing all the time to see if any of us have heard from her.

In other news I will be going home to the parentals this evening and yes, the bike will be making a little trip with me for a holiday. Small matter of some trail running practice to get out of the way first though...

    Morning Mongs,

I slept unusually well last night and have been busy this morning with all sorts of crap. Got The Bruiser back with a new brake lever (managed to fubar one of them), so ready to rock 'n' roll down to Cwmcarn later this month and start scaring myself again :P . Might do a bit of cleaning and fettling later on today while I have some peace.

In the meantime there's the small matter of coffee and bacon to be had for lunch...

    Morning Losers!
I didn't got to Lee Quarry this morning, I couldn't be bothered as it's raining and I really want to check out Phillip's Park later. Think I might ride there as it's probably more hastle driving the few miles. Hmm I'll have to think about that.

    Laters!

Got back from Philip's Park about 30 mins ago. It's a nice little ride, and can quickly clock the miles up. I managed to get both wheels off the ground, and got 24 PB's on Strava. It could do with a few more features I think, but it's new and I think they have further plans, so we will have to keep checking it out.

Sadly, I think my Pikes need a service, they make an 'air sucking out' noise when I take the weight off them. Hmm may need to buy a service kit and new springs. Hmmmm Not good the week before going to Antor!

    Mule,

That's not a healthy sound - when I got that noise on my RP2 shock, the seals had gone and it needed a rebuild (under warranty luckily). Best get it sorted.

Now taken the plunge and booked a day of Cwmcarnage on the last weekend in May, first one since busting my hand last year. Hopefully I'll remember everything and not fall off too often

    Evenin all.

Today my beloved Peterborough united were relegated in the last minute of the game. Words cannot described devastation. To make matters worse, no bike riding tomorrow either to ease the pain, but instead a metric fuckton of work has to be done. Motivation is at all time low. Christ the 4th really hasn't been with me today :( ah well hopefully revenge of the 5th will bring better fortune!

:( Poop. I've emailed TFTuned, if it's a new set of seals etc I'm hoping I can do it myself. I need this bike for next Saturday :( Looking at hiring something if I can't get it fixed in time, maybe something more downhilly....
