Dear all,
I am looking for a Hybrid bike up to 700 pounds. For me disc brake is essential. I want this bike to be a performance one as I am going to do more than 10 miles per journey in Britain country side roads. Weight is another important feature as I am going to take it on and off the train. Having researched for tens of hours! here are the lucky candidates:
1-2013 or 2012 Giant RX Disc (approx weight 11.6 kg)
2-Trek FX 7.4 Disc ( or 7.2 for less expensive version-weight :unknown)
3- Boardman Performance Hybrid Team (approximate weight: 9.8 kg)
I think Trek 7.4 is less road oriented because of 32 mm width of tyres (700x32 c) which puts me off. Am I right? (Both Giant and Boardman have 28 mm tyres)
In terms of spec which of the above has a better one?
Thanks
