Question regarding bib shorts pads/fitting

I received my first pair of bib shorts in the post today, they are DHB Aereons in a size medium. (I am 6'0" 32" waist). They seem to fit ok, except for around the front of the pad area, where I have magically developed something which looks very much like the digits on a desert animal's limbs. Is this normal? Would perhaps another brand be worth trying?

    I'm nearly exactly your dimensions (6'1" and 32" waist) and the Aeron Pros in medium fit me perfectly. I don't get your problem though :P

    One day I plan to get some Assos FI Mille S5 bib shorts when funds allow. If you look at the photos of their male model wearing these shorts (best noticable on the non black ones) the guys got a serious desert animal limb digit effect going on
