Might be buying a 2011 Stumpjumper FSR carbon to replace my 2010 aluminium one.

The last thing I'm trying to find out is whether I can swap over my bottom bracket and cranks.

The 2010 has a 73mm BB shell and uses a HT2 BB. Mine's a hope ceramic one, so I'd like to continue using that.

What kind of BB does the 2011 carbon use?

Thanks

As far as I am aware, the 2011 would have a BB30 bottom bracket - I bought a 2011 S-Works FSR frame last year from cyclestore.uk and it came with the BB adapters to allow me to run the standard HT2 cranks that I already had. The adapter cups just need to be pressed into the frame which is easy enough to do if you have a headset press of any description? I can't remember which spacers I needed, but it wasn't too difficult to figure it out when looking at the chain line? Worth also mentioning that the frame came with 3 different headset adapters as well: one for the s-works fork, one for a tapered steerer and one for a conventional 1 1/8 steerer.

    Hope this helps.
