Had a whole bunch of fairly expensive spare parts that are more beneficial keeping than selling off cheap so I built up a very random bike for the missus...
Spec:
Frame: On-One inbred 15"
Forks: RS Recon Silver TK (2012)
Headset: On-One smoothie maker (seriously rubbish)
Bought the above frameset as a bundle for £250
The other brand new part was:
Chainset - Shimano Deore (£45 off eBay)
Everything else is spares I had laying about my garage:
- XT Shifters
- XT Front mech
- XTR Shadow Carbon rear mech (2009) 9spd
- 9spd XT Cassette
- Mavic Crossmax ST wheels (2008)
- RaceFace Deus XC Riser bars & stem
- Formula K18 brakset (180mm front & 160mm rear)
- Conti mountain king tyres 2.0"
Why? Because now I get to drag her round UK trail centres on random summer weekends

For a 'bits from the box' bike that's far from a bad spec, I bet she doesn't appreciate it though!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
