Nerve AL+ 7.0 or Norco Sight 3 SE - 2k full suss advice

Hi,
After thrashing a Mongoose Tyax Elite for the past couple of years at trail centres and going xc, I've now outgrown the Moongoose and i'm in the market for something that will get me excited again.

Having disappointingly missed out on the Whyte T129s by a matter of weeks, i've been looking into other full sussers with a budget of 2k. The two bikes that are currently most appealing are Canyon Nerve AL+ 7.0 and Norco Sight 3 SE. Would someone please look at the specs and advise which bike is the better value for money and ultimately be better suited to trail centres and a little XC.

What are the prices?

In any case the Canyon is better, and comes with a reverb.

I've added pricing to my original post.
Buying through Quidco, I could get the Norco Sight for £1700.

I'd still get the Canyon. I'd prefer the Shimano gears, but that is a personal thing. Clutch mech, reverb and everything is better specced on the Canyon.

If you can get the Norco for £1,700 - the money you save over the Canyon could pay for a Reverb seat post but I'd have to agree, it'd be the Canyon for me too

I also prefer Shimano shifting but wouldn't take it at the expense of having to have Elixir 1 over Elixir 5 brakes

I'm in the same position. Going to try the sight later in the week but the canyon is very tempting. I prefer a double setup so the sight is better there and I prefer it cosmetically. Otherwise I'd already have ordered the canyon!
