I was in Regent's Park this evening doing a few laps.

The Rapha Thursday ride was out and was... well-subscribed. Arguably too big a bunch for Regent's Park, but that's another matter.

So I was at York Bridge lights with the bunch. I let them set off in front of me and was sat at the back as things picked up speed. All of a sudden, BANG! and I saw a mini-pump fly across the asphalt. Then I realised one of the lads towards the front had totally stacked it. I don't know what happened, but his front wheel ended up bent along its axis at right-angles.

A couple of guys stayed with him and one of those little Vauxhall ambulances turned up. He was conscious sat against the bushes, but the paramedic had him on oxygen.

I hope he's okay, it was a proper humdinger of a stack.
