Side to side or wobble?
Wobble is fairly normal, there is always some play between freehub and wheel, some designs less than others.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

Why is this?
I also notice the wobble when the bike is upside down and when the wheel is just coasting. Just wondering why this happens.0 -
Bent something or other, badly made wear.0

My brother bought a brand new road bike and it does exactly the same, but it is a freewheel not a cassette. So i dont think its wear or anything bent. Quite strange.0

There's always a bit of movement. If it's not effecting shifting it's not a problem.I don't do smileys.

His gears shift instantaneously, despite it being a SIS system with a Tourney mech, so that seems alright then.
