Thanks guys. It will get a good riding this weekend so ill let you know how it goes. The pedals were a steal from Planet-X. They are Time iClick2 Carbon. Weigh absolutely nothing and were £74 reduced from £140+

Lovely looking bike, what size frame is that?
  • Bagggers
    Bagggers Posts: 348
The frame is a small. Im borderline S/M so I went in and had a sit on a few for reach etc and to get stem right. I have noticed the rear wheel is slightly out of true too. Ill be taking it back in person tomorrow and camping there until they resolve it.

Ah dont worry we are allowed to be on here. Cracking bike though. Im on about 200 miles at the moment and I, loving it. Great on climbs, comfy on the commute and in my own opinion, one of the slickest looking bikes out there for the money.

Hope you are enjoying yours too.

The RS80's are great wheels in my view. Light at 1521g and spin forever. I had a dilema when choosing and nearly went for Ksyrium Elites but glad I never. You wont be disappointed mate.

I love it. Ive pretty much always used it but I guess its a personal thing. If im perfectly honest, there isnt a great deal in it between 106 and Ultegra so it comes down to budget.

Waiting time was only around 13 days I think. The trick is to go through bike builder then once you have what you think is right for you, check stock availability through their products link. If you dont tor you order parts for your bike that arent stocked, there will be delays. The problem is that there is a long list of "waiting to be built" bikes so it may not be apparent to them that parts arent available until they come to actually build yours. A good experience all round and drop me a PM if you want a chat about it or help with the bike builder.

The price with RS80's (Great wheels) instead of Carbones was £1849 i think or thereabouts, including the iClick 2 Carbon Time Pedals. Full Ultegra and the frame is Hi Mod. All in all, great value from Ribble and I didnt get the trouble that some have reported. I would advise going and sitting on one though before just ordering based on height as they will let you try different frame sizes and stem lengths/angles etc.

Utterly cool with the new wheels - finishes it all off. Very nice.

Now slam that stem and get rid of the suitcase under the saddle.

I think there was just such a ride difference, almost a whirring from the new Cosmics. Once you are up to speed on them, they just keep on rolling. Very happy with em. I have a new set of Mich Pro 4 Race tyres ready but they are red and may look a bit tacky so ill see how the SERFAS go.

I did try black/black saddle/tape (and port) but wasnt happy. Downside is the bar tape gets minging quickly but it an easy fix from time to time if it gets too bad.
