Fatal accident A132

Out for a morning ride earlier and looks like there was a cyclist (or possibly a motorbiker) fatality on the A132 Burnham Road in Essex, with the entire road closed for investigation work. It's part of my (and Alex Dowsett's) regular routes so it is pretty horrible to think about.
Its a very wide single carriageway trunk road with big pavements that is popular with cyclists, so looks like an ideal candidate for a dedicated cycle lane off the main carriageway, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.
Thoughts are with the person's family.
